Contact with Current Students
In general, you may not provide anything or make a special arrangement for our student athletes, their families or friends that are not available to the general student population.
As a representative of athletics interests you are prohibited from:
- Entertaining student-athletes, their families or friends (you may not even buy them a cup of coffee).
- Using the name or photo of a student-athlete to advertise a commercial product or service.
- Providing the use of an automobile.
- Providing an award or gift to a student-athlete, their family or their friends.
- Purchasing complimentary admissions for a student-athlete.
- Allowing a student-athlete to use your phone to make free long distance calls.
The above list is an example of forbidden contacts but is not exclusive.
